Food trucks lined up at an evening street event

One of Ahwatukee's easiest summer evenings out is back on the calendar: First Friday returns June 5 with its rotating mix of food trucks, local vendors, artists, and a car showcase. It's the kind of low-stakes, walk-around night that works whether you're bringing the kids or just grazing your way through dinner.

Go hungry and go a little early — the trucks draw lines once the sun drops and the temperature finally becomes tolerable. Cash still moves faster than cards at most of the windows, and the vendor mix turns over month to month, so it rewards a lap before you commit.

It's a recurring first-Friday fixture, so if June 5 doesn't work, the format comes back around. Check the events page for the confirmed time and location as the date gets closer.
