If you joined the Ahwatukee Chamber of Commerce but aren't sure what to do with it, this week's Chamber 101 session is designed for you. The one-hour breakfast workshop, held at the Chamber office, walks you through the actual benefits, events, and networking pathways that come with membership—so you can stop paying dues and start getting real return on them.

Membership in a local chamber can feel opaque to newcomers. There are events, committees, ambassador programs, and resources scattered across different meetings and contacts. Chamber 101 cuts through the noise and explains where to start, which events fit your goals, and how to connect with other members who might become collaborators or customers.

Whether you're a business owner, a freelancer, a nonprofit staffer, or someone who just believes in supporting Ahwatukee's local economy, a well-used chamber membership pays dividends. The session includes breakfast, so you're getting fed while you learn. It's held Wednesday, September 30th from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Chamber office (1345 E. Chandler Blvd, Suite 111).

The workshop is low-key and Q&A friendly. Ask about volunteer opportunities, ask about events that match your schedule, ask about how to meet people in your industry or in your neighborhood. The Chamber staff and longtime members who host these sessions are happy to answer real questions.

Registration is easy—check the Chamber's website or calendar to confirm your spot. Come ready to take notes and think about what membership could mean for your work and your Ahwatukee roots.
