Your weekend in the Foothills: farmers market, First Friday on deck, and a Monday networking kickoff
A roundup of what's actually happening across Ahwatukee this week — pulled from the community calendar — so you can plan around the heat.

Neighbors gathered at an outdoor community event
If you're looking for something to do that doesn't involve melting in a parking lot, the village calendar is actually stacked this week. Start Sunday morning at the Ahwatukee Farmers Market, now running early to beat the heat — produce, local makers, and coffee before the day gets away from you.
Looking ahead, First Friday returns June 5 with its food-truck, artist, and vendor night, and the Ahwatukee Chamber's POWER PARTNERS networking group meets June 1 at Native Grill & Wings for anyone trying to build local business connections heading into summer.
It's a good reminder that the Foothills doesn't shut down when it gets hot — it just shifts the schedule earlier and later. Bring water, park in the shade, and check our events page before you head out; the lineup updates as new gatherings get posted.
