Toastmasters and Golf: Two Ways to Jumpstart Your Week
Friday brings both an early-morning speaking group and a patriotic tournament for golfers of all levels.

Ahwatukee has two solid Friday offerings this week. If you're an early riser, Toastmasters Ahwatukee Chamber meets at 8:00 AM Friday, September 18th at Esperanza Lutheran Church. Toastmasters is perfect if you want to improve your public speaking skills in a supportive, judgment-free setting—and meetings happen regularly, so you can make it a habit.
Later that morning, the Ahwatukee Chamber Golf Tournament kicks off at 6:30 AM with a "Red, White & Blue" theme. The event runs through 1:00 PM, and it's a solid way to spend a September Friday outdoors before the heat really sets in. Golfers of different skill levels are welcome.
Both events offer a chance to meet neighbors and stay active as summer winds down and fall approaches.
