Toastmasters Meets Friday Morning at Esperanza Lutheran—New Speakers Welcome

The Ahwatukee Chamber Toastmasters group meets this Friday, October 23rd, at 8:00 AM at Esperanza Lutheran Church. Toastmasters is a worldwide organization dedicated to helping people improve communication and leadership skills through practice, feedback, and a supportive peer environment.

If public speaking makes your palms sweat, you're not alone—and that's exactly who Toastmasters is built for. The group isn't a boardroom full of polished speakers; it's a mix of nervous newcomers and veterans, all showing up to get better. Meetings follow a simple format: some members give prepared speeches, others do impromptu talking exercises, and everyone gives constructive feedback in a judgment-free zone.

Friday mornings at 8:00 AM means you can get it done before work, and Esperanza Lutheran is easy to find. If you've ever wanted a place to practice speaking without the stakes feeling impossibly high, or if you're working on presentation skills for a job or personal goal, this group delivers exactly that.
